About Us

Cool Amphibious Manufacturers International LLC was started by John and Julie Giljam on March 31, 1999. We began by manufacturing amphibious vehicles: the Hydra-Terra Tour Bus; the Terra Wind Amphibious Motorcoach; the H2OEX; and the Hydra Spyder’s. C.A.M.I. has two plant locations: one is in South Lima, New York; and the headquarters are located in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Prior to the Biotrike our product lines were all amphibious vehicles that ran on regular fuels. However, with so much emphases in the world now on the environment and clean fuels we decided to design and create a vehicle with those considerations in mind. The Biotrike is a land vehicle only. It is designed to run on biodiesel fuels, yet it can run on just diesel fuel also being that biodiesel is not yet as readily available as diesel in some locations. We are creating the Biotrike to be a purpose built vehicle which can have handicap/wheelchair accommodations (available in the wider version only). The Biotrike is also economically feasible to purchase and it gets tremendous fuel mileage.

All of our products are manufactured in the U.S.A.
